AVAILABLE POSITION: ACCOUNTS OFFICER

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Accountant, the Accounts Officer is responsible to accurately process, reconcile and analyse accounting information on a timely basis as per the International Financial Reporting Standards. To prepare financial data up to trial balance to facilitate accurate and timely Financial reports to Management, Board and local authorities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing accounts receivables; prepare and send invoices, credit memos, and purchase orders. Proce: company receipts, sales invoices, and payments from customers and suppliers
• Interact with customers by phone and email
• Monitor accounts receivables, following up on outstanding balances when required

• Perform monthly reconciliations
• Closely monitor expenditure against budget •Generate regular financial reports
• Carry out administrative duties

• Meticulous and methodical nature

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Professional Qualification or a master’s degree will be an added advantage . Excellent reporting Skills
• At least 5 years’ relevant years of working experience
• Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of SAP Business One will be an added advantage
