SALARY: D2 P274 620 – P302 832 per annum
LEAVE: 30 working days per annum
BENEFITS: Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays

QUALIFICATION: Degree in Human Resource Management / Public Administration or its equivalent
EXPERIENCE: 2 year’s experience as Chief Administration Officer I or Ten (10) years relevant experience
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To coordinate human resource functions, manage, direct and supervise all administrative functions/services of the department.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
1. Facilitates recruitment related processes.
2. Analyse and shortlists candidates for interviews.
3. Attends to staff welfare issues.
4. Resolves staff grievances.
5. Interprets administrative policies, regulations and directives and provides advice to customers.
6. Supervise the implementation of government policies and directives.
7. Verifies appointment letters for revenue collectors, authorizing, paying and preparing officers
8. Supervise and manages performance of supervisees.
9. Monitors compliance to human resource management policies.
10. Monitors the administration function budget and controls expenditure to ensure appropriate utilization.
11. Verifies responses to Audit and Public Committee queries.
12. Prepares manpower estimates.
13. Prepares procurement plan.
14. Monitors human resources votes ledger.
15. Authorizes purchases/ payment.
16. Perform any other administrative and HR duties that falls within the portfolio of Assistant Manager (Human Resource Management and Administration)
