SENIOR LITIGATION ATTORNEYS (X 2)

Collins Newman & Co., a loading law firm based in Gaborone servicing local and international clients on various aspects of the law, seeks to appoint two (2) highly qualified and experienced senior attorneys to join the Dispute Resolution (Litigation, Arbitration and ADR) team.

Applicants must have atleast 8 years’ experience and have an in- depth understanding of dispute resolution including general litigation proceedings (trials and urgent applications), alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.

The successful candidate will be required to provide legal services pertaining to banking and collections matters; commercial disputes; employment; environmental and international trade issues; Government contract disputes; tax; intellectual property and insolvency disputes.

Applicants must:

• Hold LLB Degree with a cumulative grade of 2(ii) or better, a post graduate qualification will be an added advantage;
• Be hardworking; committed and willing to work long hours;
• Have good drafting skills required for pleadings, legal opinions, etc; and
• Have experience and a good understanding of court processes and arbitration rules.
