PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks, and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. The goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
DUTIES:
Assisting in developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
Use HR databases to review and input new hires’ information.
Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding.
Organize and maintain personnel record & update internal database (e.g. record sick, annual and maternity leaves)
Responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data and maintaining accurate and complete employee records
Answers employee questions and addresses employee concerns with the company, including employee safety, welfare, wellness & health.
Attend to all grievances and conducting disciplinary hearings according to the company policy and procedure.
Assist with payroll processing and payments.
Assist in performance management processes.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Proven 3-5 years’ experience as an HR officer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with SAGE 300 People
- People orientated and results driven
- Owns a valid driver’s license
