FINANCE MANAGER
Duties & Responsibilities:

•To prepare financial and business plans for the company
•To manage and play an advisory role to the company regarding tax issues
•To carry out financial audits and implement control systems
•To maintain a working relationship with financial institutions and procure funds for the company
•To coordinate the functions of the Accounts department to ensure that intercompany reconciliations are done, VAT reconciliations, BURS returns are submitted
•To lead a team of assistants and to train them in the field of accountancy and train all the branch managers of the company in terms of management accounts, stores’ profitability, and achieve the gross profit results.
•To achieve the cost control measures, and ensure the entire department achieves the desired results
•To ensure that the group meets the requirement of BQA training standards and ensure that claims are processed.
•To meet the deadline requirement in respect of the returns to be submitted to head office, franchise compliance requirements, companies act, international accounting standards and the income tax act.
•To ensure that all companies under the Nando’s Group of companies including all property companies are compliant with regards to the latest tax law and company laws.
•Any other duties that may be given from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
A Qualified Chartered Accountant. We require at least 5 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant. Experience In a Franchise environment is a must.

•With above average computer literacy with knowledge of financial and accounting software packages e.g. Pastel
