FINANCE MANAGER
Basic requirements :
1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required. ACCA/CFA/CA preferred.
2.Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in real estate development or related industries is preferred. Having a foundational understanding of real estate principles can be advantageous. This could include experience in real estate finance, property valuation, real estate investment analysis, and real estate law.
3.Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with both real estate-specific management software and accounting tools, such as both MRI and Pastel. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is particularly important for financial modeling and analysis.

Advanced requirements:

1.Financial Reporting and Compliance: Proficiency in financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements specific to the real estate industry. This includes preparing financial statements, tax filings, and compliance reports in accordance with IFRS and other relevant regulations.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting: Experience in developing and managing budgets for real estate development projects, property acquisitions, and ongoing operations.
The finance manager should be able to forecast financial performance, monitor variances, and make adjustments as necessary to achieve financial objectives.
3.Communication and Presentation Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for presenting financial information to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities. The finance manager should be able to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
4.Team Leadership and Collaboration: Leadership of a team, which is finance professionals responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are necessary for building and motivating teams to achieve financial objectives.
5.Debt and Equity Financing: Familiarity with sourcing and structuring debt and equity financing for real estate projects. This includes negotiating terms with lenders, investors, and financial institutions, as well as managing relationships with financing partners.
