●Assign work to operators and assistants
●Monitors production performance and takes corrective action
●Ensure observance of safety and takes corrective action
●Coordinate drill and blast related records including metres drilled, consumables used,breakdowns etc
Minimum Requirements
●Mining Diploma or related
●At least 2 years contract mining experience as a supervisor in an open cast environment
●Good safety management track record
●Open Cast blast licence
●Drilling, blasting, loading and hauling experience
●People management skills
