Cresta Jwaneng Hotel is looking for candidates to fill in below vacancies.

1. GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER (1 POSITION)
• Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management/ hospitality operations or travel and tourism; Diploma in Public relations will be an added advantage.
• Cambridge Certificate
• Computer Knowledge ( Emerald/Apex or Plus system will be an added advantage)
• Customer Oriented
• 1 year work experience or more
• Coordination of the daily arrivals and stay of all guests as stipulated in the procedures.
• Administer and analyze guest questionnaires and produce weekly analysis
• Liaise with Front Office, manage the VIP program and coordinate group bookings.

 

 

• Coordinates all conferences to ensure success.
• Must be prepared to work shifts.
• Well groomed
• To work under minimum Supervision
• Proactive
• Fluent in English
• Good Communication & Telephone skills
• Ability to work under pressure and long hours
• MUST HAVE SECURED ACCOMODATION OR BE A RESIDENT OF JWANENG TOWN

 

2. CHEF (1 POSITION)
• BGCSE/ O’level is a must
• City & Guilds Certificate or NCC.
• A minimum experience of one to two years in the same position preferably in a hotel industry
• 2 +/- years work experience or more in the related field
• Pastry chef will be advantageous
• Attentive to details
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Customer oriented
• Well groomed
• Able to work under pressure
• To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen as well as the highest standard of staff efficiency, courtesy and guest satisfaction.
• Self driven and hands on

3. RESTAURANT MANAGER (1 POSITION)
• Diploma in Food and Beverage Service or any related field
• At least two (2) years relevant post qualification experience
• Supervisory skills
• Team Leadership
• Friendly efficient service to customers.
• Monitors cash and stocks
• Ensure all items are correctly charged for, dockets and prelists are used correctly
• Oversee smooth running of restaurant services.
• Customers service; be personally available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their question and concerns.
• Self motivated individual
• Good customer relation skills

 

• Good communication skills Setswana/English
• Knowledge of medallion/apex/plus point is an added advantage
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Cashier experience is an added advantage
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE ACCOMODATION OR BE A RESIDENT OF JWANENG TOWN
• DRIVERS LICENSE WILL BE A GREAT ADVANTAGE

 

4. WAITER/WAITRESS-6 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (2 POSITIONS)
• Prepare tables, sideboards, buffet before and after service
• Complete all kitchen area mise-en-place before service
• Keeps the restaurant in a clean hygienic condition at all times
• Takes customer orders and advices when asked
• O’ level is a must plus certificate in hospitality Management
• A minimum of six months OR 1 year experience in the same position in a hotel industry or related field.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE ACCOMODATION OR BE A RESIDENT OF JWANENG TOWN
