Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records, journals, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Account for gaming revenue, player deposits, payouts and Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR).
- Reconcile banks, payment gateways, mobile wallets and gaming platform transactions.
- Process supplier invoices, payments and vendor reconciliations.
- Support payroll accounting, statutory deductions and staff expense management.
- Prepare management accounts, cashflow reports and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with BURS tax requirements and Gambling Authority obligations.
- Support internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and process improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3-5 years accounting experience.
- Experience in gaming, fintech, financial services, insurance or other high-volume transactional environments is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, PAYE and statutory compliance.
- Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge.
- Progress towards ACCA/CIMA/BICA is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
