Estate Construction is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations, support project costing, and ensure accurate financial reporting across construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial performance
- Monitor and control construction project costs and expenses
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments
- Assist with tender costing, pricing, and financial analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
- Manage payroll and subcontractor payments
- Support audits and maintain proper financial documentation
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to management
- Preparation of vat returns and With holding Tax calculations for subcontractors and others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / AAT
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Strong understanding of project accounting and cost control
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with contractors and project budgets is an advantage
- Strong analytical and financial management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Integrity and professionalism
- Good communication and teamwork skills
