Accountant – Ngamiland Adventure Safaris (The Jao Reserve)

Ngamiland Adventure Safaris (The Jao Reserve), based in Maun, is looking for an Accountant to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the company, ensuring effective, efficient and accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable operation.

The position requires the person to have a 4 year degree level qualification in Finance, Accounting or equivalent and at least four years’ relevant work experience. Relevant experience includes:

· Experience in accounts payable in a medium sized organisation. Experience in accounts receivable will be an advantage.

· Working experience of a computerised financial system e,g Quick-books etc

· Work experience of Excel spreadsheets

· Administrative experience (writing correspondence, using an electronic mail system, electronic filing, processing of documentation, dealing with clients)

· Proven track record of being able to work with large volumes of work quickly without compromising accuracy of work

· Proven track record of being able to work independently, asking for help when needed

· Must have their BICA registration or be eligible to be BICA registered and once employed you must maintain this BICA registration.
