ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATIONS OFFICER

VACANCY:

Administration & Operations Officer | Gaborone
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer
The main purpose of the job will be to provide administrative support to finance and operations whilst ensuring smooth
running of the office.

 

Essential Job Functions

 Improving business functionality to align with core business objectives.

 Overseeing and coordinating daily business operations

 Tracking operational costs toward maintaining profit-margins

 Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures

 Identifying operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implementing necessary changes

 Managing procurement processes and coordinating material and resources allocation

 Monitoring adherence to policies and processes throughout the company.

 Analyzing and maintaining operational data

 Responsible for purchase request and appropriate filing of asset and preparing regular reports on expenses and office budgets.  Maintaining and updating company databases and organizing a filing system for important and confidential company documents.

 Ensuring all operations adhere to health and safety regulations.

 Ensure that all branches, council, licenses, and Head office licenses are paid, updated, and meet statutory
requirements.

 Over see that branch premises are in order as per standard guidelines in liaison with Operations Department.

 

Requirements

 Proven work experience as an Operations Officer or similar role  Experience with operational processes, analysis, and reporting.

 Understanding of business functions including HR, Finance, and Marketing

 Excellent organizational and leadership skills

 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics

 Proficiency with MS Office and operational software

 Ability to strategize and solve problem.

 Police Clearance Certificate will be required upon being offered the job. Qualifications & Experience  Minimum Degree in Business Management, Finance, or any related field
