Asset Management Engineer (Band 6)

Are you a versatile digital leader who to be part of the Technical Services Department, submit your application to join the team as an Asset Management Engineer to support the Senior Manager- Technical Services by ensuring the reliability and availability of equipment, utilities and facilities This will be done through the planning and coordination of the installation and maintenance of the diamond sorting, diamond risk equipment, utilities and facilities m accordance with business aspirations and industry engineering standards

Responsibilities

• Providing medium to long term asset management and maintenance
• Develop asset management strategy and improvement plans
• Initiate, plan and execute asset tactics and projects
• Ensure SHE, Legal and statutory compliance
• Coordinate effective evaluation and improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with knowledge management and innovation scheme
• Develop and manage objectives and operational schedules

Education

• You are required to have a Degree in an Engineering discipline. Mechanical. Electrical/ Electronic or Control & Automation Engineering
• A minimum of 6 years’ experience post qualification engineering experience. 3 of which must have been in management role.
• Must be registered with the Engineering Registration Board

Education

• You are required to have NCC in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years’ experience post apprenticeship as an Artisan Electrician preferably in a heavy industry environment
• Experience m a plant or mining environment would be an added advantage
