We are looking for an experienced Assistant Head Waiter to support restaurant operations, supervise the service team, and ensure excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise waiters and ensure smooth restaurant service.
  • Welcome guests, assist with seating, menus, food and beverage recommendations.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and train junior staff.
  • Allocate staff stations and monitor performance.
  • Monitor restaurant stock, including glassware, cutlery, linen and consumables.
  • Maintain high hygiene, food safety and service standards.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in hospitality, restaurants or fine dining.
  • At least 1-2 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Good knowledge of POS systems and reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of wine service, beverages, coffee and food service.
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills.
  • Hospitality qualification preferred.
  • Food safety and First Aid certification will be an advantage.
