Rantao Attorneys is looking for a suitable legal practitioner to take up the position of Associate Attorney to join our legal team. We are searching for a hardworking and career-focused individual who aims to change Botswana’s litigation landscape with a keen interest in the following areas of law: constitutional and human rights law, administrative law, public procurement law, commercial law, labour law and land law (our areas of expertise).

Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Botswana with a minimum 2:1 grade. A Master of Law Degree and/or relevant Professional Certification(s) will be an added advantage.
1 to 3 years of previous work experience at a reputable law firm or combined experience from reputable law firms. Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research to understand case law, statutes, and regulations.
Analyse legal issues and provide insights to senior attorneys.
Drafting Legal Documents: Prepare legal documents, including briefs, contracts, pleadings, and
Legal Advice and Consultation: Advise clients on legal matters, including potential risks and strategies, and provide guidance on legal options and potential outcomes.
