Mariri Speech Therapists and Audiologists is seeking a qualified and dedicated Audiologist to join our growing team in Gaborone. We are looking for a motivated professional who is passionate about patient care and willing to actively contribute to both clinical services and community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and evaluations for pediatric and adult clients
- Diagnose hearing and balance disorders
- Fit, program, and manage hearing aids and other assistive listening devices
- Provide aural rehabilitation and counseling to patients and families
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports
- Collaborate with speech therapists and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in the planning and implementation of outreach programs and community hearing screening initiatives
- Ensure adherence to professional and ethical standards of practice
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as an Audiologist
- Degree in Audiology (Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage)
- Valid practicing certificate
- Open Practice Certificate
- Willingness to relocate to Gaborone, Botswana
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
