BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

The Boilermaker is responsible for fitting, assembling, and maintaining structural and mechanical components.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key accountabilities include:

• Reading structural drawings and interpreting work instructions.

• Fabrication, welding, and assembly of components.

• Operating and working with hand and power tools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

• National Craft Certificate in Welding and Fabrication or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker in the mining or heavy industry sector.

• Experience in the maintenance of underground mine infrastructure.
