PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER/FLIGHT ATTENDANT

Qualifications: Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or any related field

Experience: Direct Entry

Salary scale: C3 P93, 720 – P111, 996 per annum

Leave: 25 working days per annum

Benefits:

i). Optional Contributory Medical Aid Scheme (Government pays 50%
while employee pays 50%)

ii) Contributory Pension Fund (Government pays 15% employee pays 5%)

ii). Housing and Upkeep Allowance of P309.00 per month

II) Flying allowance at the rate of 15% of basic salary

Main purpose of the job: Implement Public Relations policies and procedures to ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders. Provide in-flight cabin service in the VIP aircraft to ensure safety and comfort of passengers

Key Performance Areas:

I. Implement public affairs policies and procedures to ensure compliance to set standards

II. Produce articles for internal and external publications to create awareness and promote the image of the organization

III. Manage PR events, media relations and exhibitions to promote the image of the BDF

IV. Serve VIP passengers on board in order to maintain the highest level of Customer Service

V. Brief and demonstrate safety procedures to ensure safety of passengers

VI. Provide cleaning services during flight to maintain required hygiene standards

VII. Order, load and maintain stock levels to ensure adequate supplies on board

VIII. Implement Performance Management System to ensure achievement of DPPA goals
