  • To provide leadership and strategic direction for the Business Development Division
  • To develop a targeted client acquisition program for both Retail and Institutional Clients
  • To actively develop new offerings to increase market share and diversify the Revenue streams
  • To manage new product development and ensure successful marketing and distribution of same
  • To generate new business for the group, driving new segment penetration and delivery
  • To lead the targeted acquisition of new clients, managing new business pipeline
  • Responsible for client engagement and Management creating opportunities to increase brand visibility
  • To manage a team of professionals, cultivating a high-performance culture

Requirements

Interested candidates will need to demonstrate the following:







  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years ‘ experience within a Financial Services or similar corporate environment
  • 5 years experience in leading a new business/ business development/ Sales team
  • COP & ICIBS

Knowledge & Skills


  • A strong knowledge of Financial Services Industry, Knowledge of Pension Fund Industry and Financial Planning and related legislation will be an added advantage
  • Advanced relationship building and networking skills at all levels
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and delegate where appropriate
  • Strategic Innovative thinking and delivery
  • Computer Literacy-Microsoft office, especially Microsoft PowerPoint and excel
