Business Development Officer

• Conducting thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and market trends.
• Analysing competitor strategies and market conditions to position the company effectively.
• Developing and implementing business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Setting short-term and long-term goals for business growth and development.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Identifying and fostering relationships with potential clients and partners.
• Identifying potential leads through various channels such as networking, industry events, and referrals.
• Preparing and delivering presentations and pitches to prospective clients as well as quarterly report backs to Pension Fund clients
• Providing regular updates to management on the progress of business development initiatives and goals.
• Representing the company at industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years experience in Financial Services/Investment Management
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related course
• Progress towards a relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and presentation skills with a general understanding of Financial Markets
