JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at a unique and remote campsite. This role is perfect for a chef who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to create exceptional dishes using fresh, local ingredients. You will be a key player in our kitchen, managing a specific section and ensuring every plate that leaves your station is of the highest standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take full ownership of a designated kitchen station, such as grill, sauté, or pastry.
• Prepare and cook high-quality, delicious food in accordance with our menu and the Head Chef’s instructions.
• Ensure consistency in all dishes, paying close attention to plating and presentation.
• Monitor and manage stock levels for your section, assisting with ordering to minimize waste.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization in your workspace, adhering strictly to all safety, ethical, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours and contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
• Support the Head Chef in menu development by providing creative input and feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a fast-paced culinary setting.
• Formal culinary training or a professional qualification is highly desirable.
• A strong passion for food and an in-depth understanding of various cooking methods.
• The ability to work efficiently and under pressure, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a remote location.

• A strong commitment to sustainability and a genuine appreciation for the natural environment.
