DEPUTY PRINCIPAL AND CAMBRIDGE EXAMINATIONS OFFICER / COORDINATOR – Botlhale Cambridge International School

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal in leading and managing all academic affairs of the school.
  • Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, schemes of work, and assessment standards.
  • Coordinate all Cambridge examinations, including registrations, entries, timetabling, invigilation, security of materials, and compliance with Cambridge regulations.
  • Analyse examination results and lead strategies to improve learner performance.
  • Supervise and support teaching staff, including lesson observations and professional development.
  • Ensure implementation of school academic policies and procedures.
  • Act as Principal when required.

Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification/Degree in education.
  • Valid registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • At least 10 years’ teaching experience, preferably 3 years with academic leadership or management experience.
  • Proven experience with the Cambridge International curriculum and examinations (IGCSE/AS & A Level); experience as a Cambridge Examinations Officer will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and mandatory ICT skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with operational effectiveness.
