Key Responsibilities

• Proven experience in plant maintenance planning, preventive maintenance systems and breakdown management
• Ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance teams, including shift planning and task allocation
• Experience ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements in a mining or quarry environment
• Ability to identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical and production-related issues timeously

Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (essential), with traceable references
• Minimum 5-10 years’ post-trade experience in the maintenance and operation of crushing and screening plants
• Extensive hands-on experience with Metso crushing and screening equipment and Volvo earthmoving machinery
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and fault-finding skills
• Must be able to work independently, under pressure and in remote site conditions
