To provide strategic direction, leadership and management in the development of the key academic programmes in order to enhance accountability, the quality of teaching and the student experience, curriculum integrity, programme accreditations, performance management and graduate employability as well as ensure efficient and effective delivery of learning programmes in accordance with the College strategy, policies and procedures.
The role requires the promotion of research as an income stream; the promotion and provision of postgraduate teaching, research and supervision; corporate learning and industry engagement; and consultancy related activities in line with the schools’ strategic priorities.

Experience and qualifications:
Doctorate degree. The following areas Management, Business Sciences or related will have added advantage.
There should have a track record of publication at a rank equivalent to a Full Professor
Possess the BQA trainer / assessor / moderator accreditation.
At least ten (10) years of post-qualification and post-graduate supervisory experience in educational planning or management, five (5) of which should have been at a senior management level within a higher education institution.
Experiential knowledge of applicable legislation and relevant academic policies, standards and programmes, institutional planning and development frameworks, academic quality management, learning and teaching management.
Have a recognized record of scholarly research outputs, and a solid record of teaching excellence.
