District AGYW REActors (x5 positions) – BONELA

BONELA is looking for dynamic and vibrant young women to support its work with Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) as District AGYW REActors in Francistown, Tutume, Palapye, Boteti and Ngamiland District. (One (x1) REActor in each district)

The primary role of the AGYW Reactor is to work with and among other AGYW sensitizing them on Harmful Gender Norms, Gender-Based and Sexual Violence. Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, HIV/TB, COVID -19 among other Issues AGYW affect. The AGYW REActor will also document through the process of interviewing, gathering information evidence of human rights violations among Adolescent Girl and reporting such violations to the organization in order to link victims to support services that include, legal and psycho-social services.

Criteria

• Adolescent and Young Women between 18 – 24 years
• Any relevant training in relation to Young People, Sexual Reproductive Health OR Social sciences qualification for example Social work, Public Health, Community Development at Certificate Level (or higher)
• Prior experience working with Adolescents and Young Women
• A comprehensive understanding of the Public Health system in Botswana and in particular services that relate to Sexual and Reproductive Health issues that affect Adolescents and young women
