Granjo Holdings a Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA) registered and accredited vocational school & training center seek to recruit highly motivated and well experienced self-driven technician lecture in our Gadgets Repair courses consist repairing and installation of training in any of the the following skills (Hardware & Software): Cell Phone, Computer, Television, Repairing Radio, Sound System & Theatre, Satellite Antennas, Decoder, Microwaves, Stoves, Hair Dryers, Cockers, Electric Kettles, Pressing Irons, Air Conditions, Refrigerators, Water Pumps, Electric Gates, General Electrical and Electronic Appearances

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate and grade students class work, laboratory work, assignments, and papers.
• Prepares and submits reports on students’ progress in portfolio building as required.
• Participates in various college committees and coordinates related activities as may be required.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Prepare course materials, such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts

• Design, develop, install, operate and test equipment and systems.
• Build and test prototypes.
• Conduct research with scientists and engineers.
• Write specifications and technical reports.
• Develop and control schedules and budgets.
• Help design, develop, install and test equipment and systems.

• Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on assemblies and record and analyze the results.
• Help to build and test prototypes.
• Understand and follow technical manuals to adjust and correct equipment and instruments.
• Help develop estimates, schedules, budgets, specifications, and reports.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience will be added advantage.
• Speak, write and read English.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps and electrical schematics.
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree or Equivalent related qualification (s) in any of the above Gadgets Repair Courses.
• Oral, written and diagrammatic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear concepts.
• A high level of technical knowledge and IT skills.
• Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to improve designs.
• Creativity, innovation and attention to detail.
• Strategic thinking and commercial awareness of the industry you’re in.
• Organisation, project management and leadership skills.
• The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers.
• An understanding of electrical health and safety legislation.
• Have strong mathematical skills.
• Have good attention to accuracy and detail.
• Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and email software.
