Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical plant machinery and equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain transformers, LV and HV switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, ball mills, weigh feeders, and conveyor belt systems.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a heavy industrial environment, preferably in a cement plant.
- Good knowledge of transformers, LV, and HV switchgear.
- Experience working with VFDs, PLCs, ball mills, weigh feeders, and conveyor belt systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
