In its pursuit to become a Competitive Commercial Power Utility within the Region, Botswana Power Corporation invites applications from suitably qualified, highly energetic, dynamic, result oriented, innovative, and customer focused individuals, who believe they can be part of a great team that delivers power to Botswana to send applications for the below listed positions not later than 21“ May 2024.

Job Purpose

To provide effective and reliable protection and control on Generation Systems, to ensure safe, reliable and continuous availability of power supply.

Position Requirements.

Qualification
⦁ Recognised bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
⦁ Membership of the Engineering Registration Board (ERB) is required as a Registered Engineer.
⦁ Class B Drivers License is required.

⦁ At least Five (5) years post qualification in a power system operations environment, one (I) year of which will have been in power system protection.
⦁ Must obtain Senior Authorization within 6 months for internal candidates and 12 months for external candidates.
