Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant teaching and/or industry experience in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience in teaching and delivering undergraduate courses in areas such as electrical circuits, electronics, electrical machines, control systems, power systems, digital electronics, telecommunications, or related areas.
  • Experience in curriculum and course development will be an added advantage.
  • Evidence of research, scholarly publications, conference presentations, or participation in research projects will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring undergraduate students, including student projects and internships.
  • Strong knowledge of practical laboratory-based teaching and the ability to integrate theoretical concepts with practical applications.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching, learning, simulation, and engineering software/tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and presentation skills with a good command of English.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.
