FIELD APPLICATION SPECIALIST X1

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide after-sales support to customers on Orthosurge Botswana Product Portfolio. The application support will be on troubleshooting assistance, technical product information, operation instructions, product application information, operator training and a variety of application-related work (setup, optimization and configuration of equipment)

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Keen understanding of all laboratory instrumentation installation and testing
Configure instruments and related reagents. Set-up/Optimize assays
Provide post-sales support to customer
Install applications on instruments according to guidelines
Provide customer training on applications installed
Present technical solutions to customers during demos
Troubleshooting and solving applications related calls
Evaluation of the effectiveness of training programmes
Identifying business opportunities
Teamwork and good interpersonal skills
Presentation skills
Customer Satisfaction

QUALIFICATIONS

A Diploma or Degree in Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology/Science

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 3 years’ experience for Diploma holders, and
A minimum of 2 years’ experience for Degree holders.
