FIELD & DATA GEOSCIENTIST – Mineral Services

Mineral Services is an internationally recognized consulting company specializing in the provision of advanced technology solutions and expert services to the exploration and mining industry.
FIELD AND DATA GEOSCIENTISTS
The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the following roles:
⦁ Collection, collation and interpretation of ground geophysical data, including but not limited to magnetics, gravity, EM and resistivity;
⦁ Responsibility for deployment and oversight of magnetic data acquisition using the company’s proprietary airborne RPA system;
⦁ Responsibility for field collation, QC and reporting of geophysical data gathered by the Remote Mapper system;
⦁ Target selection from geophysical datasets, particularly using pioneering Machine Learning algorithms:
⦁ Implementation of field exploration programs (including sediment sampling, geological logging of drill materials and geological mapping);
⦁ Responsibility for Prospecting License administration using the Mining Cadastre system and engagement with relevant authorities;
⦁ Maintenance of geological and geophysical databases;
Minimum qualification and experience requirements
⦁ Minimum of a BSc (Hons) degree in geology or geophysics,
⦁ Strong computer and data management skills,
⦁ Working familiarity with specialist GIS software and Oasis Montaj would be beneficial,
⦁ At least two years’ experience responsible for conducting field work would be beneficial
