FINANCE MANAGER
A leading FMCG group with operations throughout Botswana is looking for the services of a FINANCE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1.Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
2.Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
3.Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
4.Supports budget and forecasting activities.
5.Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and group managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
6.Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
7.Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
8.Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
9.Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
10.Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
11.Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
12.Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to betaken.

PRE- REQUISITES:

Excellent revenue management skills with experience in budgets, P&L’s and forecasting. Working with colleagues to share skills, knowledge, resources and networks. Highly focused, have excellent communication skills, be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Chartered Accountant/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG Industry
