FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – Motor Centre Botswana

VACANCY:

Motor Centre Botswana, a leading Toyota, Lexus and Hino truck Franchise dealership invites applications for the following position based in Gaborone.

We are looking for a career financial professional with appropriate experience, Maturity and a proven employment record. The selected candidate will be responsible for the entire Financial Management and reporting functions of the organization. The candidate will also be responsible for the operational efficiency and process management of the company.

Qualifications and Experience required
⦁ Member of an internationally recognized professional body preferably ACAZ ACCA or possess equivalent academic /professional qualification from a
⦁ recognized university/institute;
⦁ Experience in working with Tier 1 ERF systems.
⦁ Should have excellent analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills;
⦁ Possess a high level of integrity, leadership skills and ability to work independently in a multi-departmental environment
⦁ Experience in the Motor Industry with a minimum of over 15 years relevant post experience.
⦁ Academic qualification/s in business management
⦁ A Masters Degree in Business Management will be an added advantage.

Responsible For:
⦁ Providing and interpreting financial information;
⦁ Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
⦁ Preparing strategic and long-term business plans/and managing budgets;
⦁ Investigating and reporting on factors affecting business performance;
⦁ Developing financial management systems that minimize financial risk;
⦁ Managing the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems and ensuring overall compliance.
⦁ Coordinating with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
⦁ Generating accurate financial reports with specific deadlines;
⦁ Keeping an update on changes in financial regulations and legislation.
