Reporting to the IT Service Desk Manager the incum­bent wiH be responsible for the provision of first level IT support to internal Users through the IT Service Desk, to receive all IT enquiries through the internal IT Service Desk and to provide information on the fulfilment of orders for IT services and equipment and to provide information and updates on fault repairs The incumbent should further be able to answer user enquiries relating to systems access, software issues.equipment. and to provide remote configuration of services The incumbent will be required to work according to BTC quality standards and procedures

The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Computer Science. Information Science or equivalent coupled with 2 years of professional experience in the IT field Experience working in an ITIL Complaint and m first level support will be an added advantage Certification or professional membership in ITIL, MSCE or any member of a relevant professional association /body will be an advantage
