FLOOR MANAGER – MINJEX ENTERPRISES

We are looking for 1 Floor Manager with 10 to 15 years of experience.

DUTIES

• Factory floor set up for all departments
• Layout of the entire production process up to dispatch point
• Training new staff on appropriate procedures
• Implement an appropriate methodology which enhances swift and maximum productivity for all Departments
• Ensure without fail that all mandatory laws, regulation and relevant certification are met at all times including and not limited to SHE, BOBS, SABS
• A reputable farm located in the Gamodubu/Gakgatla area is looking for a dedicated and experienced Herdman / Farm Manager to oversee daily farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Looking after 300 goats, chickens, and guinea fowls
• General animal husbandry and welfare management
• Supervising and managing farm activities, including the ploughing of hectarage land for crop production
• Ensuring the smooth running of all farm operations and reporting to the farm owner
• Maintaining proper farm records and overseeing workers, where necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Form 5 Certificate (BGCSE or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of proven experience working on a farm
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in livestock care (especially goats, poultry, and guinea fowls)
• Ability to manage crop production and land preparation
• Leadership skills and the ability to work independently
• Must be reliable, honest, and hardworking
