We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of General Manager located in Gaborone:

Job Responsibilities
• The incumbent will be responsible for managing, motivating and developing all staff
• Monitoring and measuring performance standards
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Interpretation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of monthly business reports to management and the Board
• Liaise with attorneys in terms of ‘legal’ accounts
• Facilitate effective internal and external audit processes
• Board meeting attendance
• Developing and updating strategic business and marketing plans
• Developing and maintaining country-wide networks and relationships
• Ensuring customer satisfaction indexes exceed targets
• Drive cash flow and working capital management
• Ensure adherence to HR policies
• Develop and maintain country specific competitive advantage

Academic Qualifications/ Skills
• Tertiary qualification – Degree or similar
• The tertiary qualification backed up by 7+ years experience in a similar and or related field would be an advantage
• At least 10 years experience in General Management role an advantage
• Ability to interpret financial performance and identify risk based on financial statements and related information
• Unendorsed, valid driver’s license
