We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Auditor to join our team and ensure the accuracy and compliance of our financial operations.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Financial Auditor to perform audits across our extensive network of retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG industry dynamics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to identify and mitigate financial risks. This role is critical in safeguarding our financial assets and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, transactions, and processes across multiple retail locations.
•Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
•Ensure compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and accounting standards.
•Analyze financial data to detect discrepancies, fraud, or mismanagement.
•Prepare detailed audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
•Collaborate with management and operational teams to implement audit recommendations and enhance financial practices.
•Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

•Should have Cl MA or CA and must be a mememebr of a proffetional body
•Should have certificate or a diploma in computerised accounting
•Bachelor’s Degree or a MBA in the relevent field will be an added advantage
•Proven experience (5+ years) in financial auditing
•Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Proficiency in audit software and financial management systems.
•Ability to travel extensively to various retail locations as required.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
•High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
