What will you do?
As Hospitality Professional, you will work with The Delta Training Academy team to implement international training standards and provide training to hospitality staff in all areas, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Customer Service, Fire Fighting and various other areas. There will also be a huge emphasis on software system setups and training focusing on Central Reservation Systems, Property Management Systems and Point of Sales and Stock Control.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide on site theoretical training knowledge, as well as practical skill applications for customers.
- Create and update Standards Operating Procedures for hospitality courses
- Develop training content in line with DTA curricula
- Provide feedback and adaptations for hospitality in line with current industry trends
- Training customers on the above software systems.
Personal Attributes & Qualifications:
- Dynamic, independent and proactive leader in hospitality who is passionate about training others
- Three years’ work experience in four- and five-star establishments. International experience a bonus.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or Tourism Related Field
- Excellent communication skills and training qualities
- Passionate about working with food and imparting knowledge
- Patient, flexible, and have a detail-oriented nature with the ability to work in a team of various cultural backgrounds
- Computer literate and efficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in the English language with ability to read and write
- Setswana fluency is a plus
- Able to work in remote locations for extended periods of time
This position is based in Maun, Botswana, but requires frequent local and international travel. Salary and benefits will be qualifications and experience dependent.
