VACANCY 

WE’RE HIRING ICT LEVEL 1 SUPPORT ENGINEER

IT-IQ Botswana is looking for Level 1 Field Support Engineers. This role is responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction against establish SLAs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform desktop fixes and install/upgrade software and hardware.
· Implement file backups and configure systems and applications.
· Resolve issues with printers, copiers, and scanners.
· Conduct preventative maintenance and problem-solving.
· Support WAN/LAN and perform network tasks, including antivirus updates.
· Provide client and manager feedback, log calls, and close tickets promptly.
· Produce statistics and management reports.
· Work flexibly on a rota basis and cover as needed.
· Create and maintain support documentation for clients.
· Communicate effectively with all colleagues and customers.
· Take ownership of user problems and provide timely updates on progress.

REQUIRED COMPETENCY

· Minimum Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or similar
· English Proficiency – Good written and verbal Communication Skills
· Ability to Work in a Team, and to manage tasks to SLA standards

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

· The preferred candidate should have at least 2-3 years work experience in an IT Support Role and a Certification in ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+ and/or N+.
