The fundamental mission of the Bachelor of Commerce (B. Requirements

  • Honors Degree in Banking and Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration (Finance), or a closely related field.
  • A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Teaching qualification will be an added advantage.
  • All qualifications must be recognized by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA). Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide proof of BQA evaluation.
  • At least two (2) years lecturing experience at tertiary level will be an added advantage.
  • Practical experience in the banking or financial services sector will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in curriculum development, student assessment, and academic administration will be beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and financial systems.
  • Excellent teaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Sound understanding of corporate governance and financial regulations.
