LECTURER IN ENERGY /THERMAL EANGINEERING – UNIVERSITY OF BOTSWANA

VACANCY 

The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the below positions.

ii). Lecturer in Energy/Thermal Engineering (contract position) REF: Vacancy No. IRC 2707

QUALIFICATION:

Applicants should possess: i) a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Energy/Thermal Engineering or related field, or a closely related field; ii) Registered/or eligible to register as a professional Engineer; iii) Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related area with Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas of at least 2(i) or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances. UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Lecturer added advantage.

Duties:

the candidate should be able to: i) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Energy/Thermal Engineering and related areas; ii) Supervise both undergraduate and graduate student research projects; iii) participate in other academic and professional activities of the department.
