Lecturer in Science Education (Biology)

Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) A PhD in Biology Education or equivalent; N.B. a Master’s degree in Science Education (Biology) with at least a 2(i) or equivalent pass or equivalent at Bachelor’s degree level maybe considered under special circumstances.

UNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Added advantage

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to:

• (i) Teach Science Education courses to undergraduate and graduate students;
• (ii) supervise students on internship/teaching practice;
• (iii) supervise students’ research projects, thesis and dissertations at both undergraduate and graduate levels;
• (iv) undertake any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.
