The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day transport and dispatch operations at Bots Bedding, Gaborone. The role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant fleet operations while supervising and motivating the logistics team. This position monitors vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance, and driver performance, while ensuring adherence to Road Traffic, Health & Safety, and organizational policies. The Logistics Supervisor acts as a key link between drivers, warehouse staff, and management, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate reporting, and optimized operational performance.

Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- A-level / tertiary qualification in transportation, logistics, supply chain, operations management.
- 3-5 years of experience in transport management, logistics, or fleet supervision.
- Experience supervising a team of drivers or logistics personnel.
- Exposure to administrative and operational reporting in a logistics environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with logistics or transport software systems (e.g., Syspro or similar).
- Understanding of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and transport planning.
- Knowledge of Botswana Road Traffic legislation and Health & Safety regulations.
- Record-keeping and report compilation skills.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Hands-on approach with ability to motivate self and others.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.
