Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review electrical system design for the thermal power plant, including HV/LV systems, switchyards, generators, transformers, MCCs, UPS, DC systems, and grounding.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE/IS standards, grid codes, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and EPC contractors on electrical design deliverables.
• Review and approve SLDs, layouts, protection schemes, cable schedules, and calculations.
• Interface with other disciplines and process teams to ensure integrated design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer in Power plants or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
