Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution, with a Master’s Degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- At least 20 years’ post-graduate experience in a reputable engineering consultancy, including the design, supervision and management of:
- Electrical distribution projects up to 66kV;
- Transmission projects up to 220kV; and
- Building services engineering projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current engineering standards and Botswana utility requirements.
- Current membership of a recognized professional engineering institution (e.g. BIE).
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB), supported by a valid practicing certificate.
- Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, projects and client relationships.
- Valid Class B driver’s license.
