Talent Lab (Proprietary) Limited is a 100% Botswana Citizen-owned Human Resource Consulting firm that is focused on providing bespoke solutions to companies in Botswana and globally as they grow their businesses outside their home market.

Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for global strategy and cross-cultural dynamics? We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Managing Director. This pivotal role will oversee all our global human resources initiatives on a worldwide scale, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and values.
The position is based in Gaborone, Botswana with frequent travel required regionally and globally based on client and project requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) Certification: Demonstrated proficiency in global HR management practices, regulations, and strategies. Credential issued by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), U.S.A.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field: Strong educational background with a focus on business management principles.
•Minimum 10 Years of Global HR Experience: Proven track record of success in managing HR functions across diverse regions and cultures.
•HR Systems Expertise: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software tools to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency.

International Experience: Knowledge and experience of working in various countries, understanding cultural nuances and legal frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement global HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation & benefits programs on a global scale.
Ensure compliance with international labor laws and regulations.
Drive initiatives to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion across all regions.
Collaborate with senior leadership to support business expansion into new markets.
Manage all day-to-day operations of the business, including marketing and client acquisition, profit and loss responsibility, and hiring and management of all staff in the business.
