Dinaledi Football Academy is seeking a Matron to manage and oversee the daily operations of the players’ hostel. The role requires a candidate with strong hospitality experience, proven ability to manage and care for children, and an interest in sport and youth development.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily care, supervision, and welfare of children residing in the hostel.
- Managing kitchen schedules in coordination with the Chef.
- Supervising and managing hostel cleaning staff.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, discipline, and accommodation.
- Being part of the Academy’s management team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role involving managing children (hostel, boarding school, children’s home, or hospitality environment).
- Diploma in Hospitality Management, Child Care, Social Work, Housekeeping Management, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Child Safeguarding Certificate (mandatory)
- French language skills and football-related experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills.
