Mobile Development Engineer-Trainer (2 Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Reporting to the Orange Digital Centre Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing training young people at the coding school on the latest technological trends related to their area of expertise.

Job description

The main duties include but are not limited to:

• Building Mobile and Web Applications using Flutter
• Building mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms
• Actively participate in the activities of the Coding School: training, events, Talks and challenges
• Prepare and conduct technical training programs.
• Develop & maintain positive relationships with attendees.
• Observe and evaluate trainees along with training period.

Skills:

• Java / Kotlin: Android.
• Objective-C / Swift: iOS.
• Mastery of REST / SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of graphic tools.
• Knowledge of Material Design and user experience (UI / UX.)
• Good understanding of the Android ecosystem and design patterns (MVP, MVVM.)
• Flutter or React Native.
• Knowledge of Dart programming language.
• Mastery of unit testing and integration tools.
• Practice of agile methods, in particular SCRUM.
• Back-end development.
• Web technologies, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP.)
• Current databases: Oracle, MySQL, Postgresql, MongoDB.
• Collaborative development tools (git, jira, tuleapp.)
• Experience with databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge and practical experience in Web API and Web development.
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
• Experience with Offline Storage

Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

• Development engineer or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field.
• Good knowledge of project management, ability to pilot projects and work with technical experts.
• Have pedagogical skills to provide training and support for projects.
