  • Focus on maximizing equipment utilization, ensuring blast-hole accuracy, and solving complex ground challenges.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, costs, and client contracts.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification – Diploma in mining engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years working in open pit mining or drilling operations
  • Must have knowledge SHEQ management and control systems
  • Deep understanding of blast hole, drilling methods and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mine safety rules and risk management.
  • Understand legal terms, scope boundaries, and variation clauses within drilling contracts.
  • Familiarity with major OEM drills, including Epiroc, Sandvik and other similar class of equipment.
  • Valid Botswana Open Cast Blasting License.
  • Engineers Registration Board of Botswana registration an added advantage
