Roger Dugmore Safaris, a leading mobile safari operator in Botswana, is seeking a highly organized and proficient Office Assistant to join our team. We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide essential administrative and clerical support, ensuring the seamless operation of our office here in Maun.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all communications, including emails and phone calls.
• Maintain accurate records and filing systems (both digital and physical).
• Handle basic accounting tasks, including capturing invoices onto Pastel.
• Manage reservations with previous experience.
• Proficiently use computer systems, including Apple systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Manage internet banking transactions.
• Provide exceptional client customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and manage food and drink orders for the office.

Requirements:

• A valid Drivers License
• Proven experience in an administrative or office assistant role, particularly with reservations.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Apple systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Pastel accounting software is essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving.
• High level of adaptability and confidentiality.
• A strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Familiarity with office procedures, including filing and organizing.
